Perfect Group Managing Director Mateusz Jedruszek will once again join business leaders from across Australia in the 2026 Vinnies CEO Sleepout, spending a winter night sleeping outdoors to help raise awareness and funds for Australians experiencing homelessness.
On 18 June, Mateusz will sleep on cold concrete in Sydney alongside hundreds of CEOs, executives and business leaders participating in one of Australia’s most recognised charity fundraising events.
Now entering his third CEO Sleepout, Mateusz has made the event a personal commitment after witnessing the growing challenges facing individuals and families experiencing housing insecurity across the country.
More Than One Night
While the CEO Sleepout lasts for just one night, the reality for many Australians is far more confronting.
More than 35,000 people in New South Wales and over 122,000 people nationally are currently experiencing homelessness. Many are families, workers and individuals who have faced unexpected life challenges that have left them without stable accommodation.
The Vinnies CEO Sleepout raises critical funds for St Vincent de Paul Society programs that provide:
- Emergency accommodation
- Meals and food support
- Crisis assistance
- Housing services
- Support programs that help people rebuild their lives
The event aims to give business leaders a small insight into the challenges faced by those sleeping rough while generating much-needed funding for frontline services.
A Personal Commitment
For Mateusz, the CEO Sleepout is about more than fundraising.
Having migrated to Australia from Poland and built Perfect Group from the ground up, he understands the importance of opportunity, support and resilience.
Reflecting on his previous participation, Mateusz said the experience has left a lasting impact.
“The first Sleepout cracked something open in me. The second made it personal. The third is not going to be any easier, and that is exactly the point.”
Over the past two years, supporters, clients, industry partners and friends have helped Mateusz raise $28,912 for the cause.
This year, he has set a new target of $30,000, helping Vinnies continue delivering essential support to Australians who need it most.

Many Australians experiencing homelessness are employed, have families and previously enjoyed stable housing before facing circumstances that dramatically changed their situation.
