Perfect Strip Out & Demolition completed strip-out and demolition works at an aged care facility located in Beecroft.
The scope of work for this project involved:
- Strip out kitchens;
- Demolition of laundries;
- Strip out bathrooms;
- Disassemble cold rooms;
- Removal of plasterboard ceiling (approximately 3,245m2);
- Demolition of plasterboard lining on brick walls;
- Disassemble vinyl floor finish (approximately 2870m2);
- Removal of doors, joinery, and cabinets;
- Demolition of reception desks;
- Removal and disposal of loose furniture and mattresses;
- Disassemble air conditioning ducting and other existing ducting;
- Demolition and removal of the single and double skin brick walls, and concrete slabs;
- Disassemble and remove concrete pavings, slabs, plinths and steps, and bitumen footpath;
- Demolition of the existing section of the heritage house including the timber roof structure, windows, brick walls and sandstone and nearby shed;
- Demolition and removal safely of the metal roof and roof structure;
- Rubbish removal from the job site and disposal, recycling or reusing them according to EPA.
1.8T excavator for materials handling, hook trucks, skip bins & bogies for material loadout were used during this project. Our team utilised electrical tools such as grinders, demolition and ring saws, jackhammers and hand tools.
