Perfect Remediation and Refurbishment completed remediation works at Bromic Heating’s new national headquarters in Ingleburn, where soon after the construction was completed and the premises were put into use, signs of water ingress began to appear.
The scope of work for this project involved:
- Removal of the entire aluminium façade including separation of glazing from the frame
- Disassemble a section of the external tiling and screed
- Removal of internal glass balustrade to allow the damaged plasterboard internally to be removed and replaced
- Checking electrical work
- Installation of new raised packing sill
- Modification and shortening façade
- Installation of a new subseal with the terrace waterproofing membrane wrapped up over the new raised sill but below the new subseal
- Reinstallation of the Glazing facade system
- Reinstating terrace tiling & grouting
- Caulking works
- Render repairs to the terrace where water runoff caused staining on the rendered facade
- Replacement internal framing along with new plasterboard and fittings installed.
