The scope of work for this project involved:

Removal of the pedestrian stairs;

Secure all necessary permits and approvals from local authorities;

Disconnection of stairs from the existing structure;

Lifting stairs clear of the building using a 400-tonne mobile crane;

Monitoring the safety of all personnel on-site and passengers at the station;

The removal of the pedestrian stairs was accomplished within the allocated budget and scheduled timeframe. The project was completed with great care and professionalism, resulting in a clean and unencumbered area that could be repurposed for other uses.
