Perfect Contracting completed removing the pedestrian stairs at Canterbury Station for our client Haslin.
As a result of the station’s renovation, the stairs were deemed unnecessary and had to be removed in a way that minimized disturbance to the station’s daily activities and ensured the safety of everyone involved.
Removal of the pedestrian stairs;
Secure all necessary permits and approvals from local authorities;
Disconnection of stairs from the existing structure;
Lifting stairs clear of the building using a 400-tonne mobile crane;
Transport of stairs off-site for disposal;
Monitoring the safety of all personnel on-site and passengers at the station;
