Perfect operates across the highest-risk environment in the construction space across a wide range of sectors. This is why it is a key business focus to maintain and obtain licences across the group. Allowing us to operate to the standards that our trusted clients and industry stakeholders have come to expect.
What does Unrestricted Demolition Licence mean?
This licence is required to demolish (or partially demolish), any building, structure or installation that:
- is over 15 metres in height
- is a chemical installation
- involves a tower crane on site
- involves a mobile crane with a rated capacity of more than 100 tonnes
- has structural components that are pre-tensioned or post-tensioned
- involves floor propping
- involves explosives.

Class A licence
The class A licence allows you to remove friable asbestos, non friable asbestos and any asbestos contaminated dust or debris (ACD).

Class B licence
The class B licence is more common and allows you to remove 10 square metres or more of non friable asbestos, like fibro sheets. Having a class B licence only allows you to remove the asbestos contaminated dust or debris (ACD) that is directly associated with the removal of non friable asbestos.
Only a person who conducts (or proposes to conduct), a business or undertaking may apply for an asbestos removal licence.
