Perfect Contracting completed works at Campbelltown Hospital as a part of Taylor Construction Group’s refurbishment works.

The scope of work for this project involved:

Removal of the existing rock wall for machine access;

Building a spoil stockpile, erecting barricading to delineate it from foot traffic using the 14, bedding the loading zone with crushed concrete, protecting the existing footpath with 20mm road plates;

Bulk excavation of clay and shale in underground conditions;

Loading material into bogey drive tippers using 14t digger;

Subgrade preparation of a large area to be concrete finished;

Battered finish throughout;

Cutting and rolling of road base for concrete finish;

Setting up temporary lighting and installation of dust extraction fans;

Excavation and removal of friable-asbestos old waste pipe, disposal of in line with all EPA guidelines – sealed up and sent straight to Eastern Creek;

Removal of 6600 t waste material.

2 x 1.7t excavators, 2 x 2.5t excavators, 2 x positracks, a 4t digger, a large Telehandler and a smooth-drum roller were used in the Campbelltown project.
