Perfect Remediation and Refurbishment completed remediation works at A&W’s Wetherill Park plant.

The scope of work for this project involved:

Cleaning, forming up and reinforcing of deteriorating effluent adjustment tank containment slab; pouring a new topping slab; incorporating floating grate into the topping slab;

Construction of new containment areas in line: low profile concrete walls surrounding a slab;

Installation of reinforcing and formwork; pouring new concrete bunds; rendering and caulking the final product;

Installation of structural steel reinforcing in damaged areas where repair was not feasible;

Installation of concrete wheel stops to prevent future damage of recently repaired bunds;

Carrying out ongoing patch repairs utilising rapid set concrete repair mortar material within the facility on aging driveways and walkways;

Installation of tanks and pipes braced & temporary walkway props to make way for newly designed structural steel walkway supports.

All works were completed within the operational facility meeting the strict A&W safety standards and daily pre-start requirements, new works fulfilling the upgrading requirements as well as being aesthetically pleasing.
