Perfect Strip Out & Demolition completed the demolition of a residential building at 90A Arrabella Road, Longueville.

The scope of work for this project involved:

Demolition and disposal of timber framed metal carport roof;

Demolition and disposal of carport slab 200mm depth;

Disassemble masonry support columns;

Demolition of the staircase, external brick walls and bay windows;

Demolition of existing concrete pool and penetrations through pool;

Drilling of piles for the building extension;

Removal of a lift shaft;

Excavation through hard sandstone 4 meters deep into the lift shaft using Brokk200;

Hand demolition of the top floor and retaining all the timber floors.

This project had very tight access excavation, and all works were completed using a crane. Various hand power tools, Brokk200 and demolition saws were used for demolition work. Our Brokk110 was used for the excavation work. Works were completed in 10 working weeks.
