The detailed scope of work for this project involved:
Removal of the balance tank 200mm thick slab
Extensive rework of tank lid, tank walls and structural corbel
Repair of rusted steel access ladder
Installation of a structural catch deck
Forming up a new suspended concrete slab
Installation of reinforcement
Cleaning, treating and Cathodic protection installation on existing steel reinforcement bars (cathodic protection runs were chased in, anodes installed and wired up)
Coating the walls and the floor of the compromised tank with a waterproof membrane
Replacement of the aging concrete lid
Concrete repair in the culvert
Major repair to all the pool control joints
Installation of waterproof bandage
Forming up a new culvert lid
Installation new stainless steel support angles to main control joints
Installation of stainless steel reinforcement fixed to the lid
Installation of new priority PVC water outlets
Tiling and caulking works
Removal of concrete in manageable pieces from the site.
