Perfect Strip Out & Demolition completed demolition and strip-out of teen office levels at 321 Kent Street, Sydney CBD.
The scope of work for this project involved:
- Dismantle workstations;
- Removal of ceiling tiles and grid;
- Removal of all floor finishes;
- Disassemble air conditioning ducting;
- Removal of kitchen joinery;
- Removal of doors;
- Detailed demolition work to make good;
- Develop customized waste management plan;
- Recycling and reusing of gyprock, workstations, joinery, appliances, kitchen cabinetry, steel, aluminium, timber and various other materials.
The project covered ten levels of the building. Each one was 1,500m2, a total of 7,500m2 for the entire project.
The project ran for 5 weeks, with crews of up to 15 men running during the day and night shifts.
Efficient work health and safety policies and procedures were implemented to ensure the safety of all workers on site so that the project was completed without any safety incidents on site.
